Investment Philosophy
DW Healthcare Partners is a healthcare focused private equity firm with extensive expertise in operating and building successful companies in the healthcare sector. We invest in profitable companies with consistent revenue and earnings growth. We make minority and majority investments, depending on the needs and desire of our portfolio company partners. As a general rule, we prefer to partner with the current management team however we will also acquire a company outright.
Having owned and operated numerous healthcare companies, we understand the challenges and issues facing management teams today and recognize that these management teams are the most important asset of a company. When we make an investment, first and foremost, we are investing in the management team’s ability to execute on a strategic plan and build a strong company.
Our investment team serves as board members, where we can leverage our industry and operational expertise, deal origination activities and business relationships to help positively impact and grow the business.

DW Healthcare Partners invests exclusively in healthcare companies. Our investment team’s breadth of knowledge and operational expertise across multiple sectors of healthcare allows us greater insight into the unique challenges facing our partners today. This investment focus allows us to better understand and monitor the regulatory climate, pending and current reimbursement issues, and government policies and trends that impact the healthcare marketplace. This insight and knowledge is invaluable to our partners as we work together to develop the company’s strategic plan.
Our deal origination team contacts thousands of business owners and identifies hundreds of potential investment opportunities annually. We actively pursue add-on acquisition opportunities for our partners.
Investment Criteria
- $3 million EBITDA and above
- Strong historical growth rates
- North American companies
- Majority ownership preferred (may consider minority)
- Equity investment $5 million and above
